Thanks Judy & Bob - I was just asking. I know that some folk make a
seaweed tea letting the seaweed stew in a bucket for a few weeks in an
anearobic process, so I thought I would ask if anyone has tried it fresh
in their CT brewer.

I have tried fresh seaweed but do not know yet what the effect is, if
any. I added it with a mix of compost and alfalafa pellets.

There is no point getting my brews tested yet until I have the various
mechanical things finalized, but what I can say is

1. My chickens have not died from drinking it !
2. I have used it as a soil drench when transplanting a number of large
trees and shrubs and they are all looking fine and show no sign of
transplant shock at all.
3. When making up seed trays with vegetable and flower seeds, I
saturated the potting soil with the CT and I have a very fast and even
germination rate from the seeds.

So far the CT is looking good <grin> so my thanks to the group.

Now, if only Elaine's printer can get that Compost Tea Manual out the
door ....!

Thanks to the list, for all the advice.
