It seems clear that the amount of microbial food for soil
application vs foliar application of CT is different. It also seems
logical that foliar application of CT even with a sticker would
require nutrients for persistence of the organisms on the leaf. A
totally different environment from the soil.

The question is what is the "Goldilocks" amount & type of food to
apply with the CT for foliar? Have ther been any tests that show
the persistence of CT organisms vs time on leaves with and without
added organism foods?

Elaine, have you done leaf assays at 24 hours, one week, etc with
and without added foods to the CT?

I think these are critical questions to answer for the optimal
foliar CT application in challenging environments such as grape
black rot. And also to obtain the longest duration of viable
organisms on the leaf.
