Paulette,

The ComposTumbler may be able to get your pile to the temps required, or it
may not, depending on your recipe.

You need to use a thermometer and work with the ingredients.

Worth the money? Not in my opinion...

Two weeks is the time needed to meet the 'five turnings in 15 days'
requirement for pathogen control of a composting mass, not to achieve
finished compost.

After two weeks, you might feed this material to a worm bin or set it aside
to 'cure' (read--recolonize with mesophilic organisms) to generate a real
and rich compost. Curing time could be six weeks or more, time in a worm
bin, as little as thirty days, depending on conditions.

The gadget of a tumbler will not substitute for good choice of materials,
proper particle size, moisture content, and management.
