Thanks Elprune. It seems to be rain sensitive too. This nectarine tree is so badly infected I nealry cut it down but I want to see if CT and control the problem if used often. I'm going to try CT often and thru the winter and see if all these problems will respond. Good to hear from experience. Bob

To date, conventional chemical treatments for leaf curl are not
effective after infections occur or after symptoms appear.

Since temperature plays a part in the severity of the outbreak
coupled with the fact that after affected leaves fall, the new
leaves grow without any symptoms, it's going to be difficult to
measure the effectiveness of the CT as a post bud break control.


Perhaps a better test would be to spray in winter and see what
happens next spring.
