FW: [compost_tea] Mollasses?

If I want to control apple scab using a foliar spray,
wouldn't I be after a high fungal tea? If the bacteria
consume the fungi, then wouldn't high molasses be
the way to go?

Actually, I have to amend my statement about the use of Molasses if you
already have good fungal.

In my instance, no matter what the fungal numbers I develop, because I
am using AH, there is always a high number of bacteria so the proportion
is thrown off. Molasses at 5% will "reduce" the number of bacteria, thus
enabling a true Fungal tea instead of one high in both numbers. This can
be a wonderful "problem" when using Alaska Humus.

Cheers,

Jeff
