Thanks elaine
the epilobium obviously thrives in wet soil as the site in question is tota=
lly waterlogged. That being the case - anaerobic bacteria must be the culpr=
its- right?. as drainage has not improved the situation will the addition o=
f beneficial fungi alone do the job?

Joke for the day:
Q: what do you call a mushroom that buys you drinks all night?
A: a fun-gi to be around! :)

Two good questions there, which can only be answered by the appropriate t=
esting.

First, a tea brew where you add the B12, and see what the biology is once=
you add it, as compared to the without brew. No other way to figure this =
out. Wish there was a testing fund for this!

Epilobium generally needs slightly bacterial, so pushing good fungi shoul=
d exit the weed. But pay attention to the place it typically grows. Can y=
ou give us all a hint about where you always find this weed? What does mot=
her nature tell you about its requirements?
