Re. mulch composition to mimic tea critter dominance. Correct me if I'm
wrong:
straw, hay supports protozoa dominance
wood-based compost/mulch supports fungi dominance
vermicompost supports fungal and protozoa dominance
what mulches/composts are dominated by bacteria?

IMHO spraying or drenching tea on mulch works just fine. The beneficials
in the tea do great in mulch, especially if it is the kind that fosters the
same dominance as is in the tea. Worms pull the mulch into the soil,
deposit some of it in their dens etc. The soil foodweb will distribute
your tea!
