I think you'll find list of herbs used to make teas almost inumerable.
But some herbs that appear in many teas are spearmint, peppermint,
catnip, chamomile, ginger, fennel, anise, chicory, rosehips, lemon
grass, etc. The teas I drink most often have mints and ginger in them.
They have historically been used for stomach upset and nervous
conditions. For an article on catnip go to
http://www.itsnet.com/~treelite/CATNIP.html. Rosehips are high in
Vitamin C. Many herbs are put in teas because of their flavor and their
ability to mask poor tasting herbs. One notable herb in this area is
licorice.
There's alot more. Good luck and I hope you find what you're looking
for.
