Whoof! Webside finally back up!
Ash Grove Community Farm and Center for Sustainable Living
Corning, New York
Use of the 20-acre farm and farmer/facilitator's time is donated.
Everything else is created and supported by members.
Organic farm, CSA with garden and summer job co-ops,
whole-food and local meat buying co-ops, horse and pony co-op,
dairy goat co-op, organic gardening supplies co-op, affordable
housing co-op.
Long-term intentional community now forming.
Approved rehabilitation site for Panorama Horse Rescue, Inc., a
not-for-profit statewide group that attempts to nurse horses and
ponies back to health after their abuse or neglect has been so
awful that the State Police have removed them from their previous
owners. Animals that recover are "adopted out" to new loving
homes.
Frequent affordable workshopshops (two hours $15, half-day $25,
full-day $40, weekend retreats $100 including meals and housing
and program). Topics cover all aspects of "sustainable living" --
one coming up on preparing for Y2K "Just In Case".
Events and celebrations every month.
Official not-for-profit registration pending, also creation of a
Southern Tier Organic Land Trust to preserve and protect
farm land here at the roof of the Susquehanna watershed.
Apprenticeships, internships, and harvest partnerships
available all year round.

I'm also battening down the hatches for winter here and still
working two jobs to support the whole mess; the website
is "only a hobby". Yeah, right. Like the farm. <G>
