Greetings, fellow seed maniacs!
I am glad to have found this list, and hearty thanks to whoever started it. I'm on a mission to save more seed all the time, and encourage others wherever they show up!
I grow ALOT of our family's food, using almost all OP varieties, on a 40 acre farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky. Each year, i save between 40 and 70 varieties of OP or Heirloom seed from my very low-cost naturally-tended gardens. I sell some produce, and am beginning to make value-added products from our bounty.
Love to exchange and give seed, also enjoy it when someone makes round robin seed exchanges on various lists each year. Sometimes, i am called upon to give talks on seed saving and gardening. Vegies and culinary herbs are my favorite, but we also appreciate flowers as food for the soul!
Looking forward to this list, and the sharing natures of gardeners all around the world.
