This Week at Hilton Pond 03/01/01

HI . . .

There aren't a lot of spring wildflowers at Hilton Pond Center for
Piedmont Natural History, so we had to wax poetic over a lonely Blue
Violet that blossomed the other day.

Details are at the Center's website. Go to http://www.hiltonpond.org
and click on the logo for "This Week at Hilton Pond," selecting the
week of 1-7 March 2001.

Included are weekly bird banding totals (including recaptures of
note), along with close-up photos of Song Sparrow and Mourning Dove.
