New in Aiken, SC area

Hi folks,

Send reply to capito@hotmail.com (not skua99).

All of the Yellow-rumps were moving north through the treetops today. New
migrants and other birds of interest in the Aiken area include:

@ Savannah River Station
7 species of warbler including an adult male Prairie Warbler (today) and a
Black-throated Green
1 Baltimore Oriole
1 Mississippi Kite
2 Grasshopper Sparrows
5 Lecont's Sparrows
2 Vesper Sparrows
and lastly, 1 Henslow's Sparrow (has been in same area for several months)
in a 40 X 300m long stretch of sparse low Pond Cypress (one every 15 to 30
meters) in a large carolina bay. The 2 from earlier in March have moved.

Cheers!
