Ben Berry, Dave Lovett and I went to Kings Mountain National Military Park
and the South Carolina Kings Mountain State Park. At KMNMP we took the loop
trail. Most of this area had had a controlled burn sometime in the last
year or more, so there wasn't a lot of ground birds here. We also went on
Piedmont Rd. where we pick up the Ovenbird; we heard 3 different ones.
