RE: Leucocistic Brewer's BB? at Coddle Creek Res.

Two things militate against RWBB in this sighting otherwise I wouldn't have
posted it.

1. The call of the male was definitely that of a Brewer's BB - most unlike
any RWBB call I have ever heard, and,
2. The accompanying female was neither a grackle nor a RWBB. I am quite
familiar with both.

Nevertheless, please note that I put a question mark in the subject line,
denoting my own questioning of what would be an uncommon - not "rare" -
sighting of a Brewer's in this area at this time. Perhaps others can
confirm or clarify this sighting. Otherwise, I'm chalking it up as a
"maybe."

Tom,
Sure you didn't have a first year male Red-winged Blackbird?
