Hilton Pond 06/15/01 (Big Brown Bat?)

HI . . .

It's always surprising to find a bat flopping around on your office
floor, and that's what happened "This Week at Hilton Pond" for the
week of 15-21 June 2001. Now if we just knew for sure what kind of
bat it was . . . . To read all about "Bats In our Belfrey," go
directly to http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek010615.html .

In response to your many requests, this is now a direct link, but
please feel free to browse the rest of the Web site for Hilton Pond
Center for Piedmont Natural History. :-)

As always, there's an update with photos of birds banded and/or
recaptured this week.

Lastly, if you're interested in natural history, please consider
joining the Nature Study Network via

Happy Nature Watching,
