Folks,
At about 3:30 PM this date Yvonne and I (my wife), went up to Lake
Julian hoping for Caspian Tern. As soon as we arrived at the dam, 2 Caspian
Terns flew low over the dam giving us brilliant views. They made 2 more
passes over the dam, as well as diving into the lake to feed. I was able to
get up close and brilliant video of the event. Caspian Terns are not a
common bird up here in the mountains.
