Photos of unusual NC specimens

Yesterday I visited the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences and took some
photos of the birds Harry LeGrand mentioned in his July 19 message.

I'll be sending them on to the NC Bird Records committee for evaluation,
but for others that might be interested, I posted a low-resolution shot
of each bird at http://www.duke.edu/~cwcook/museumbirds.html

Included are Red-tailed Hawk (Western and Krider's), Ringed Turtle-Dove,
Lesser Nighthawk, Cave Swallow, Townsend's Warbler, and MacGillivray's
Warbler.
