Hi Carolinabirders,
Today, Charlie Heacock and myself did the Huntington Beach S.P. component
for the Georgetown County, SC NAMC. We worked from 7:30AM to 6PM. We
covered just about all parts of the park under mostly cloudy skies and high
(Beaufort Scale 5)winds. The high winds kept most every bird hunkered
down. Yep, that was the operative word if you were a bird today-hunker!
Only gulls, terns and Osprey were doing any flying today. 71 species with
one more added by Chris Hill.
