Mason Farm

Hello everyone,
Enjoyed a few precious hours at Mason Farm (Chapel Hill, NC) Sunday
morning. Highlights were a Tennessee warbler (lifer!) and a northern
harrier. The warbler gave us good looks and the couple I was watching it
with (sorry, don't know their names) said they had seen another (or
same?) one earlier in their walk. Goldfinches and blue jays were the
most common sightings, but there was a good mix of other species as
well: brown thrasher, grey catbird, yellow-shafted flicker (buzzing by
with a mockingbird), red-headed/red-bellied/downy/pileated woodpeckers,
C. geese, red-tailed and red-shouldered hawks, tv, chickadee, titmouse,
m. dove, cardinal, robin, song and white-throated sparrows.

Oh, to be there now......
