Conway birding

Hi Carolinabirders,
This afternoon from 1:30 to 4:30 I birded on my own at New Road and the
adjacent Conway Sewage Ponds. This northeast coastal area is extremely dry
and for the first time in my 10 years of birding the swamp alongside New
Road is empty of water. Much of the sewage ponds are also rather dry. The
puddle ducks there today did not tip they stretched out and skimmed along
the surface. Now for the 35 species seen today.
