Bald Eagles in Washington Co.

Sorry that I didn't report this earlier but I have not has access to a
computer. On Sunday 11/11 at about 12:45 pm I has a great look at two
adult Bald Eagles sitting in a field west of Paul Rd. (aka the "Railroad
Bed"). This is about 5 miles west of Lake Phelps, just north of Wenona and
Hwys 45 and 99 that come south out of Plymouth. These two birds were very
cooperative and allowed great looks at about 75 yards. They flew up one
time and circled but came down to the same spot. They did not appear to be
feeding on anything, just enjoying the nice sunny day. I spoke to one of
my friends who is a farmer in the area and he said that he had seen quite a
few eagles this fall while picking crops but none have cooperated for him
to take a picture.
