Green-tailed Towhee

The towhee made an appearance at 8:45 AM yesterday (Tuesday.) Arrived about
8:30 and had to leave at 9:15 to drive back home to Florida. Before leaving,
I spread more seed. The canister of seed was full Also spotted feeding with
the towhee - the following: Brown Thrasher, Cardinal, 3 Female Painted
Buntings, male Eastern Towhee, Chipping Sparrows, Fox Sparrow, Song Sparrow,
White-throated Sparrow, White-crowned Sparrow, House Finch and one fat Cotton
Rat or Wood Rat. The sun was at a perfect angle for photograph and I took
several - but with my digital camera.
