While I looked for and missed Northern Parula yesterday on a non-birding
visit to Congaree Bluff HP, they are back. Sharon Brown in extreme southern
Charleston county reported the presence of at least one Parula in her yard
today, a single "zeeeeee-up" heard above the wind as the cold front blew in.
Notable numbers of feeder birds this weekend were 20 Purple Finches, 65
American Goldfinches, and 21 Pine Siskins.
