Greenview Birds

Dear Birders,

Here are some of the things I've seen here at Greenview over the past 24
hours.

10 active great blue heron nests
2 greater yellow legs
4 white crowned sparrows at my screen feeder this morning
1 medow lark
1 great egret
3 huge snapping turtles
2 redtail hawks
1 turkey vulture
White throated sparrows
Song sparrows
Yellow rumped warbler (at my suet feeder)
Red bellied woodpecker (at my suet feeder)

We're still waiting for our purple martins to arrive...

Greenview Pond
Raleigh, North Carolina

Greenview Pond is located on Blaney Franks Road, just west of Lake Wheeler,
in Raleigh North Carolina. In spite of the fact that it's just a small farm
pond and marsh, the Wake County Audubon Society has observed over 200
species of birds there over the years.

Birders are always welcome to park in front of our house and bird watch from
our property.
We live at 2429 Lullwater Drive overlooking Greenview Pond. It's a
yellowish house with a triangular window facing the street and a boardwalk
to
the front door.
