Goose Creek State Park walk

A short walk in Goose Creek State Park this morning turned up only
the expected migrants: Yellow-throated warbler, Blue-gray gnatcatcher
and a very few (one?) Northern Parulas. Pine and Yellow-rumped warblers
were abundant, as were Hermit Thrushes and the common year-round birds.
There were too many deer. I saw at least eight, twenty if I count
possible duplications. Everyone should read Ted William's article in
the latest AUDOBON magazine.
