I'm pleased to report that today (30 March) our first Ruby-throated
Hummingbird of 2002 (a red-gorgetted male) was spotted in the rain in
semi-darkness at 6:31 a.m. EST at Hilton Pond Center for Piedmont
Natural History near York, South Carolina.
The Easter Bunny came early. :-)
Best wishes for a great hummingbird year!
BILL
