On my way into work today, I found a dead Ovenbird lying on the ground in
front of the office. I suspect he flew into the large glass windows as birds
occasionally do. Our office is just a few blocks from the state capitol
building. Last year we had a very tired female Common Yellow-Throat show up
that I carried around on my finger for a while. Luckily, she went on her way
later that morning. It's amazing where birds show up sometimes.
