Re: Tricks for Ticks?

I spend a lot of time in the forest and am especially a magnet for chiggers.
This remedy works for ticks and chiggers. Buy a container of flowers of
sulfur (powdered) at the pharmacy. Put some in an old sock and tie closed
at the end. Dust around your ankles, waist and private parts. Wear long
pants and long sleeves. Tuck your pants legs into your socks. Works for
me. It may just be that you look so ridiculous that the critters just stay
away! I must warn you that you do smell like rotten eggs. I also found a
liquid sulfur chigger/tick repellant at the army surplus store which works
almost as well.
