Singing Orange-crowned Warbler

One of the birds that I practically never hear singing is the
Orange-crowned Warbler. One was (is) singing this morning high in an oak
here in the Elizabethan Gardens. At least two over-wintered in the gardens
this year.
Also, I was treated to the swooping courtship flight of the male
Ruby-throat yesterday at home. Sure hope that means they will nest in my
yard again this year.
