was trip to lewis ocean bay, 4-13



hi y'all,
    waccamaw audubon visited lewis ocean bay heritage preserve the morning
of april 13. thanks to jamie dozier with SCDNR who joined us as a co-leader
for the first half of the morning.
    both birds and vegetation appear to be somewhat slow starting this year.
given that, the trip was still quite enjoyable with some good birds, neat
plants, and a few butterflies.
    as the trip didn't begin 'til 9 a.m., i went up a little earlier and ran
across a cpl of birds (those w/ an *) that weren't seen or heard later. 45
spp. total.
