Hi Folks,
I'm off to Wilmington for the weekend and wanted to know if there is
anything special hanging about in the area. Is the GT Towhee still in
residence at Southport? I'll probably get to go birding for most of
one day, so I can cover some distance if necessary.
Also, currently there are 2 young mockers in the holly bushes in
Sands Parking Lot on Duke campus. Both adults are busy feeding them
what looks like caterpillars. The littl'uns are squawking up a storm
and the parents are looking frazzled with the effort! First
youngsters of the year for me.
Best wishes
Steve
