This morning started off great with a Male Rose Breasted Grosbeak in my
yard. He's been seen several times feeding at the sunflower and safflower
feeders. It's just a bit unusual to have to still have White Throated
Sparrows and Yellow Rumped Warblers along side Northern Parula and Rose
Breasted Grosbeaks in my yard.
I led Birdwatching at Eno River State Park this morning. The highlights
include male Scarlet Tanager, Prairie Warbler and a singing Brown Thrasher.
All good birds for beginning birders.
Happy Spring,
