Great day at Evergreen



20+ birders spent 3+ hours combing Evergreen Nature Preserve in Charlotte
this morning.  A new record of 61 species in one day.  In addition to the
usual suspects we had

Ovenbird (heard)
Common Yellowthroat (female)
Chestnut Sided Warbler (heard)
Ruby Crowned Kinglet (still)
Pine Warbler
Indigo Bunting
Yellow-rumped Warbler (still)
Acadian Flycatcher (heard)
Red-shouldered Hawk
Red-tailed Hawk
Rough-winged Swallow (2 over new wetland)
Wood Thrush (heard)
Prairie Warbler
Blue-headed Vireo (heard)
Black and White Warbler
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Swainson's Thrush (heard)
Scarlet Tanager
Cape May Warbler
Northern Parula (heard)
Hermit Thrush (still)
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Brown-headed Nuthatch
Ring-billed Gull
