Birders,
Another productive late-April day at LFO, although perhaps not quite as hot
as last year. LFO is at milemarker 270, just north of Deep Gap on the
Parkway.
Hooded Warbler - several
Chestnut-sided Warbler - milepost 268 behind Parkway motel
Black-throated Blue Warbler - everywhere
CERULEAN - at least 1 heard clearly just south of 270
Am. Redstart - several
Black-and-White- 2 or 3
Ovenbird - 2 or 3
Black-throated Green - 2 or 3
Acadian Flycatcher- heard 1
Perhaps next weekend will bring Rose-breasted Grosbeaks and Kentuckies.
