I stopped by Anilorac Farm

this morning and found a small flock of Bobolinks, mainly on the south
side of Dairyland Rd. I also heard the Warbling Vireo and several
Grasshopper Sparrows. No Dickcissel singing yet although I did see some
distant suspects.
At Mason Farm

I turned up a Worm-eating Warbler. A Northern Parula was singing near
it, and it was interesting to note how similar the songs are at the
beginning. In fact when I first put my binoculars on the Worm-eating I
was looking for the Parula, and I thought I'd made an embarrassing
misidentification of the song.
