Two sandpipers, one a solitary and one a spotted, were together at the pond
behind Winterfield School this morning. The spotted seemed to try to run
off the solitary, but the solitary seemed to want company and only flew a
few yards.
In response to an inquiry about the location to Evergreen, it's in east
Charlotte between Central Avenue and Independence (US74). Two maps and a
