Saw an afflicted fem. at my feeders this eve. Normally don't see ill House
Finches 'til late summer here. Anyone else seeing 'em now?
Still a few White-throated Sparrows hanging out.
Too many grackles, and a banner year for cowbirds. Ditto for bush-tailed
tree rats. I may have to stop seed-feeding altogether. The birds I'm trying
to feed can no longer get to the food. Kinda discouraging.
On an up note, there's a way cool mockingbird in the yard where I work; he's
got a Ruby-throated chase call down pat.
