Hilton Pond 04/22/02 ("Blue" Birds)

HI . . .

We've had the "blues" at Hilton Pond Center for Piedmont Natural
History--but we weren't down in the dumps. Instead, we captured four
species of "blue" birds, all of which are illustrated in the current
installment of "This Week at Hilton Pond."

The photo essay on "blue" birds is under the long week of 22-30 April
2002; just click on http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek020422.html .

There's also the usual list of banded and recaptured birds--including
a rather elderly White-throated Sparrow--plus a mug shot of a Gray
Catbird. (Yes, for all you tweeters out there, it's nothing but birds
in this week's edition!)

Please don't forget to forward this message to folks who share our
interest in nature. :-)

Happy Spring, and Happy Nature Watching!
