White Bluebird eggs.

When checking Bluebird boxes today I encountered one clutch of four eggs
that is entirely white. I have heard of this occuring one other time, but of
the hundreds of Bluebird eggs I've seen in the past 10-15 years, I had never
encountered them.
Can someone explain why these eggs did not pick up the color. Does it happen
often? Would one expect normal hatchlings?
Thanks.
