Birded the above location near morganton,nc today with Ben Berry .
What a lovely place to go to beat the heat on a hot summer day!
Highlights were: black throated green warblers, louisianna waterthrush,
acadian flycatchers, pewees, and a pair of blue headed vireos along with
the usual red eyed vireos. Also believe we heard yellow throated vireo
but could not get a confirming visual. Also
had a good sized kestral and many meadowlarks on wires along the
farmlands leading in. Great peaches at the peach stand on hwy 18 at the
turn on to 18A. Dave Lovett - Charlotte, NC
