Lori and I went up to Roan Mtn. this morning to look for the Mourning
Warbler. We did not hear or see it. That is not to say that it is not
there. The wind was blowing 30+ mph which was keeping most everything down.
We did have a couple of Alder Flycatchers along the trail. Even without
seeing the warbler, this is a wonderful and beautiful (the Rhododendron and
Flame Azaleas are in full bloom) part of the Appalachian Trail to hike on.
If I get any other reports of the warbler I will pass them along.
