White-faced Ibis still here

Several birders including Ricky Davis, Wayne Irvin, Lee Yoder, Bob Burrell
and myself easily relocated the White-faced Ibis this morning (I think Ricky
got there first!) in the same ditches in south Nags Head where it was seen
yesterday. The bird has been photographed by at least three people. The bird
is fairly skittish and birders should try to keep their distance. There are
a few glossies in the same ditch however the white border around the face of
this bird is very distinguishing, as is the red eye. Once again, the bird is
in the vicinity of mp 19 on the old Nags Head Road (this is south of the
Comfort Inn). Hopefully, this bird will stick around for a few days - time
will tell.
