I saw a Worm-eating Warbler this weekend at the Camden Revolutionary War
Park.

Hi C-Birders,
This morning (3 July 2002) I heard a Louisiana Waterthrush singing
(sotto
voce) and calling along the creek (Penn Branch) that runs through my
back yard. I live only three miles from the Statehouse here in Columbia.
As far as I know I am several miles from the nearest breeding Louisiana
Waterthrushes (on Fort Jackson). So what we have is a post-breeding
dispersal, but you might as well call it the beginning of the fall
warbler migration.
With temperatures closing in on 100 F. I am ready for a bit of fall.
Can the Worm-eating Warblers and American Redstarts be far behind?
