Re: Worm-eating Warbler

Back in the late 1970s to mid-1980s, I used to encounter Worm-eating
Warblers during the breeding season at Crowders Mountain State Park,
Gaston County, NC (just a hop, skip and a jump from York, SC). I recall
hearing apparently territorial males singing on several occasions. Once
I encountered a pair along the Backside Trail that were highly
agitated at my presence, most likely indicating the presence of a nest
or fledglings nearby. I never found a nest, though.
