Binocular Thank You

Hello Carolina Birders

Thanks to everyone who has written to me about binocs..I have learned so
much from all the helpful suggestions and recommendations. The advice to
try as many models as I can is a great idea...and I have looked at many.
Eagle optics was a big help and so was the Cornell website. I am pretty
sure I want 8x 42's with a close focus and am leaning toward the Eagle
Optic Platinum Rangers. Their warranty and price is impressive and
several people have e-mailed me about how much they like their Rangers.
Again thanks, I really appreciate your help!

The two pair of Bluebirds are still warbling and one pair is building a
nest just across the street in a neighbors box. I have Catbirds feeding
young, Cardinals are still bringing fledglings to the deck for peanutbutter
suet, and two fledged Chipping sparrows and parents are coming to the
millet and corn just outside my kitchen window. A Great Crested flycatcher
is still calling quite a lot..next year I need to put up a box or Newspaper
tube(?) for them. We even heard a Wood Thrush in our backyard very early
this morning. Things are hopping!...can't wait to get some new binocs!

Great birding to all.
