Reddish Egret and Wood Stork

Yesterday Barb and I had a Reddish Egret canopy feeding at Huntington Beach
SP, SC, in the area that is accessed from US 17 on the dirt drive where the
oyster shell recycling bin is located. there were also about 25 Wood Stork
in the same area. Black tern were posted on the birding book at HBSP but we
didnt see any.
Last week a beautiful sea otter that had been in the area for several
weeks died in the salt marsh behind our house at Litchfield Beach, the
apparent victim of an encounter with a jet ski.
Today on I-95 as we passed by Santee Natl., we saw more Wood Stork
feeding in the pond beside the highway. A scan of the Super Sod at
Orangeburg showed many people working all over the area.
Barb and I go to Houston Sat for her to be seen by a
peritoneal/ovarian cancer expert at M.D.Anderson Hospital. We have been told
to not expect anything new, but you have to try.
We appreciate all the CBC friends that continue to pray for Barb!!!!
