for anyone on list planning to attend local Sat. morning Audubon walk to see
UNC campus owls and then proceed into Battle Park, let me forewarn that
parts of B.P. are quite wet and/or muddy (weÕll
be crossing the creek over stones as well) so waterproof footwear (or
footgear you donÕt mind getting soaked) may be in order; also be aware
mosquitoes are pretty thick both in B.P. and on the quad, at least in
evening. Owl family doing well and surprisingly are confining themselves to
a small handful of trees, while Junior learns to fly.
