The following are highlights of the 3 hour Wednesday morning birdwalk at
Charleston County's Caw Caw Park on US highway 17 south in Ravenel, SC led
by Perry Nugent at 8:30 am. A small fee is charged. For more information

58 species were seen and/or heard. The most interesting were; 3 Least
Bitterns, 3 Wood Ducks, 8 Mississippi Kites, 1 adult Bald Eagle, 6 Least
Terns, 2 Barred Owls, 6 Wood Pewees, 3 Acadian Flycatchers, 1 Eastern
Kingbird, 20 Parula warblers, 3 Yellow-throated Warblers, 6 Pine Warblers, 6
Prothonotary Warblers, 20 Common Yellowthroats, 2 Blue Grosbeaks, 3 Indigo
Buntings, 8 Painted Buntings, and 10 Orchard Orioles.
