For those who are interested in reading more on the Peregrine, the Federal
Register for today has the FWS final rule delisting the peregrine; the rule
contains a section of "responses" to the comments on the delisting proposal.
The Federal Register can be found either in a U.S. Government Depository
Library in hard copy (with a few days added on for mailing time), or over the
web at www.access.gpo.gov. Once at the GPO site, click on the link to
"Federal Register," once at that site, click on "Browse the contents of the
current issue of the Federal Register," then click on either the text or PDF
options for the rule, which is found under the heading "Fish and Wildlife
Service." The Adobe Acrobat reader is available at the site for free download
for those who want to read the PDF version (which has the font that appears
in the actual published version).
