Grosbeaks, Nuthatches

Last week, we briefly had an immature male Rose-breasted Grosbeak at one of
our sunflower seed feeders.

Also last week was the first time we've ever seen three different kinds of
nuthatches in the yard all at once.

Saturday before last, we were very surprised to see a Least Flycatcher --
with 15 minutes of viewing time. I called a birding pal to discuss at
length the eye-ring and call.

Hummers came to the feeder as late as Oct. 5, but none since. - Martha
